LM Inc is dedicated to the artistic lesbian. LM Inc. encourages positivity, inspiration, growth, and community. The artistry of a woman in itself is emotionally and spiritually profound, because that is what we are. The thoughtful and philosophical insights in poetry, writing and all other art forms allow us to express pieces of ourselves that we have been taught to suppress.
LM Publishing Inc. is an up and coming publishing company whose primary focus will be on LGBTQ works of art. Works of art will include; fiction, non-fiction, artwork, poetry, and photography.
We are currently seeking stories that have yet to be told, artwork that has yet to be done, and poetry that has yet to grace pages.
Creativity, eroticism, imagination, sexuality, passion, anger, disappointment, yearning, love, lust and dreams are all a part of each of us. Our soul mission is to publish your dreams.
All submissions are welcome and we look forward to working with artists embarking on a journey to conquer the world of art through their voices.
Submissions: Currently, we are only accepting submissions from writers and artists within the United States. LM Publishing Inc. does not require artist to have an agent when signing with our publishing company, nor can we recommend any agents should you decide to work with one. All submissions must be submitted by persons 18 and older.
Guidelines for Submissions: When submitting written work please send us an email including the 1st three chapters of your novel, legal name, pen name, mailing address, phone number where you can be reached, outline of the novel, and the authors bio. When submitting poetry books please send us an email with at least 10 poems, the artistic vision for the book, legal name, pen name, mailing address, phone number where you can be reached, and the authors bio.
When submitting artwork, photography, or music please send us an email with a sample of your work, legal name, pen name, mailing address, phone number where you can be reached, and the authors bio. If LM Publishing Inc. is interested in your work we will contact you within 6 weeks to extend an offer to move forward in making your vision a reality to share with the world.
We are only accepting submissions from writers and artists in the United States
Novels: Should be at least 40,000 words, properly formatted, Times New Roman 12pt font, and double spaced.
Poetry Books: Should be at least 50 pages, formatted the way you would like it to appear in print, Times New Roman 12pt font, and double spaced. Poetry books will be reformatted once the work has been accepted to the specifications of the author.
Exceptions: At this time we are not accepting childrens books, textbooks, coffee table books, screen plays, or famous quotes books.
Copyright laws: Under federal law, anything original is considered copyrighted the moment it is written. No application for copyright is necessary. However, if an author wants to officially register the copyright, it is generally recommended that he/she submits the work for registration with the Library of Congress, though you are under no obligation to do so. If a legal matter were to come up later, this would be one way to prove that the work is indeed your work.
